Clinical Field Guide
This “field guide” was developed in 2024 and contains best clinical practices for the treatment of TB with expanded resistance. Topics in the guide include optimizing drug susceptibility testing, treatment regimen design (including compassionate use/pre-approval access), and holistic packages of support.

Counseling Guide
Recognizing the unique psychosocial needs of people diagnosed with TB that has expanded resistance, a group of experts from The BETTER Project developed this counseling guide in 2026. It is meant to supplement existing TB counseling tools and covers topics including shared decision making, end-of-life care, and informed consent.
